The Iola Amateur Radio Club held it’s regular meeting on May 9, 2023. Present were 14 members & guests.
Minutes of the April meeting were read and approved.
Jeremy discussed the state of the club web site and delays in updates. Also discussed was the upcoming shutdown of the Peerboards forum.
Training classes were discussed, but there has not been a lot of interest expressed so far.
Steve reported that we are now officially an ARRL affiliated club.
Field Day plans were discussed. Plans are still ongoing.
Trey spoke briefly about his efforts to re-establish ARES in Allen County. Work on this is ongoing.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. Jeremy gave a presentation on HF digital modes that was well-received.
